Hours after former President Donald Trump was rushed from a campaign rally Saturday in Butler, Pennsylvania, authorities confirmed that he had been targeted for assassination by a gunman identified as Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, about 40 miles south of the site of the campaign rally.
