My world, my ‘conditions’: Xi scolds Trudeau, G20 actors

Fresh from forcibly securing an unprecedented third five-year term as China's top leader, Xi Jinping returned to the international stage at the G20 Summit in Bali, Indonesia after a self-imposed Covid travel drought. Xi promptly made clear to the president of the United States and other leaders that he expected deference. Criticism was met with charges of "Cold War mentality."

FBI records show Fauci's NIAID funded Wuhan gain-of-function research

A government watchdog group announced on April 19 that it received records from the FBI in a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request that show an April 2020 email exchange with several officials in the bureau’s Newark Field Office referring to Dr. Anthony Fauci’s National Institute of Allergies and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) grant to the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) in China as including “gain-of-function research” which “would leave no signature of purposeful human manipulation.”
